Community Involvement

Immel Construction is the proud recipient of the 2008 Cornerstone Award from the Greater Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. This recognition celebrates our charitable and volunteers efforts, and our standing as a "Cornerstone" of the local business community.

Immel Construction prides itself in being actively engaged in the community to improve the quality of life in Green Bay. To live its philosophy, Immel leadership encourages their employees to become actively involved in organizations and local events that improve the community. The following are just some of the organizations that Howard Immel Inc. is proud to assist in their mission.

 Salvation Army

The Salvation Army

The Army cooperates with churches of all denominations to meet the needs of the community.  Immel Construction sponsors families through The Salvation Army each year at Christmas.

Red Cross

American Red Cross

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.  Immel Construction has made a monetary contribution in the relief efforts to assist the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

 

Freedom House and Golden House

These organizations are dedicated to serving all types of homeless families with children in the Green Bay/Brown County area.  Each year Immel Construction conducts an internal food drive to offer food donations to these families.

YMCA Greater Green Bay YMCA
The Strong Kids campaign helps the YMCA provide program support and financial assistance to families and at risk children in our community. Immel Construction is an annual contributor to this program and believes strongly in the mission of the YMCA.
Cerebral Palsy Cerebral Palsy Incorporated
The leader in Wisconsin in the provision of innovative, high quality services to children and adults with disabilities and/or severe multiple handicaps and their families. Immel has been involved with the Cerebral Palsy Telethon company match for over 15 years.
Angel Flight Angel Flight
Angel Flight's central mission is to serve people in need by arranging charitable flights for access to health care and for other humanitarian purposes. Kelly Hafeman, President of Immel Construction, provides non-emergency medical, humanitarian and rapid response flights as an "Angel Flight" pilot. Hafeman willingly volunteers his time and personal plane to provide this free serve to Angel Flight patients.
