Unique Features

The old bell tower now serves as a Reflection Room of Hope. It has been capped with Lexan Polycarbonate skylights to let in natural light and provide a quite space for thought. The vaulted ceilings in the sanctuary were preserved, which combined with the new exterior windows, create a main gathering space flooded with daylighting

Scope of Work

The project is a renovation of a 1800s era church into the Cassandra Voss Center.  Cassandra Voss was an extraordinary young woman who lost her life in a tragic car accident in May 2007. The Cassandra Voss Center seeks to honor Cassandra's spirit and to continue her legacy and will preserve this historical local structure while enhancing the building's overall aesthetics and improving its accessibility and function.
